The Western Wall , Jerusalem 1924

This scene is particularly interesting as it shows the fashions of the early 1920s and depicts bustling activity. This is in contra-distinction to similar views of the Western Wall photographed in the late 19th century when the site was always shown with static views of people praying and dressed in their best clothes, rather than everyday apparel as here.
