Dan Partouche was born in  Tiaret Algeria in 1932. His father was an artist specializing in Jewelry and Goldsmithing. Immigrated to Israel in 1954 and lived on Kibbutz Hanita in the western Galilee.
1962 - 64 studied at the Avny institute in Tel Aviv and was influenced by Zaritsky, Streichman and Stematsky.1966 received scholarship to study at the School of St.Martin in London.He returned to Israel and taught at the Center for Art Studies in Hadera.1978 lived and worked in Paris and in 1979 won first prize in a competition organized by the Center Malraux in Paris. 1982 returned to Israel and began working in pastels and later opened his studio in Raanana, Israel. Held numerous exhibitions all over the world and was particularly successful in Japan.Died 2004
