On line Gallery for Israeli Art and Judaica
Useful information about the various types of printing techniques
Suggestions
Many of the prints have a white border (the difference between the image size and the paper size) but we suggest that this be covered with a mat to enhance the look of the framed work.
Before framing, it is recommended to dry mount some types of print on mount board to prevent the paper from becoming wavy. Consult with an experienced picture framer to obtain reliable advice.
As with all pieces of art, it is advisable not to hang the prints in strong direct sunlight.
Color and size disclaimer
Great efforts have been made to represent colors and sizes as accurately as possible; however, slight color and size variances may occur. We do not take returns because of color or size variance. We recommend that frames, mats or glass never be precut based on the dimensions printed in this web site.
Framing Suggestions
There are several triptych and quadtych works in the range of Art from Israel.com and they can be cut into single pictures and framed individually. Interesting arrangements can then be made by hanging several small pictures on the wall.
